Ms. Ellner was appointed President of California Pension
Administrators and Consultants, Inc. in 1993, taking over responsibility
for $200 million in retirement assets for over 180,000 participants.
Prior to this, Ms. Ellner held the position of President at California
Central Trust Bank, where she managed the transition from a declining
corporation to one of the most successful and profitable trust companies
in California. She also established the Employee Benefit Trust Department
of Sanwa Bank, which under her direction became a $5 billion division.
A member of the California Bar and a recognized expert in banking,
business trust and pension issues, she has served as co-chair of the
Employee Benefits Trust and Fiduciary Services Committee of the California
Bankers Association, the Association’s State Government Relations
Committee, as well as the Board of California Independent Bankers
Association.
Ms. Ellner regularly speaks at business conferences and seminars on
retirement planning, trusts, wills, and estates, and has written numerous
articles on these topics for both local and national publications.
